Julie, alone, powerless, and afraid, learned at a tender young age how to survive her horrific childhood. She survived by learning God’s love for her through the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, her loving horse, Chico, and her grandmother’s love. She hopped on a train at eighteen to save her life. She lived in survival mode for the next few years until she met God, who spoke to her in the middle of the night when she attempted to kill herself. God’s powerful voice said, “I love you, Julie.” She felt God’s powerful love radiate warmth through her heart. He turned her life around from tragedy to triumph through the many miracles of his grace.
